Ajda Kadunc is a visual artist working in painting and installation. In 2024 she completed her master's degree in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. During her studies, in 2020, she spent an Erasmus+ exchange at the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki.
In her practice she treats nonsense as a borderland between what we consider controlled and what we see as wild. Through images and by assembling different elements she explores ideas of spreading into and occupying space. She has had several solo exhibitions, including at Prostor 2^32 (Ljubljana, 2025 and 2024), TKALKA gallery (Maribor, 2024) and, together with Aleksandra Saška Gruden, at Alkatraz Gallery (Ljubljana, 2023), and has taken part in numerous group exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad.
