Jošt Dolinšek is a visual artist whose practice grows mostly out of photography and extends into video, installation and sculpture. He explores the human existential experience of environment and time, and our relationship to both, focusing on questions of uncertainty: of viewpoints, of duration and of change. Form and materiality are key elements of his work and are often closely tied to how a piece is made and the questions it raises. In 2023 he completed a master's degree in photography at HDK-Valand in Gothenburg, Sweden. He has shown his work at Fotografie Forum Frankfurt, Röda Sten Konsthall in Gothenburg and the Museum of Modern Art in Ljubljana, among others.
