Neža Perovšek approaches painting with the mindset of an archivist, exploring the human tendency to accumulate things. She works mainly by reinterpreting material from her personal archive, manipulating it into new systems of interwoven scenes. In 2024 she completed her master's degree in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana.
She has shown her work in several solo and group exhibitions, including Gesture of moral support at Equrna Gallery, Max capacity – Mixed reviews at Simulaker Gallery and Failed plans for world domination and other predictable events at Gallery. With Maša Knapič she co-founded the nomadic exhibition project das Garage.
