Under the label MORJA, Zala Hrastar upcycles vintage materials in a poetic, intuitive way. She holds a master's degree in textile and clothing design from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering in Ljubljana and furthered her studies at Design School Kolding in Denmark through an Erasmus+ exchange.

She has presented her work in Slovenia and abroad, including in Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Berlin, Stockholm and Budapest. Her work has received numerous awards, among them the Daljnogled 2023 award and the Faculty Prešeren Award for her master's thesis.
